The said hospital is the St. Paul’s Hospital. Mayor Jerry Treñas, based on a report on TV Patrol Negros, further confirmed that one of the six (6) doctors is really positive for coronavirus.

It was followed by rumors that the said doctor had a contact with a Bacolod doctor. According to the report, Bacolod City Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran confirmed that a Bacolod doctor has dined with the said Iloilo doctor who tested positive for COVID-19.

The doctor went to Iloilo to see his girlfriend. According to Vice Mayor Familiaran, the doctor is already under a self-quarantine now after hearing about the other doctor testing positive for coronavirus.

Familiaran stressed that as a medical practitioner, the doctor who tested positive for COVID-19 should have isolated right away after the taking of the swab samples for testing.
