HPA’s Ridge To Affect Weather Condition in the Philippines, PAGASA Says

LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the ridge of a High Pressure Area would affect the weather condition in the country.

On Saturday (June 6, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The High Pressure Area and the Intertropical Convergence Zone would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The weather bureau said that the Intertropical Convergence Zone would bring cloudy weather conditions with rainshowers over SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, Davao Region and Zamboanga Peninsula.

The easterlies or the localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila, Mindanao, and the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
