PAGASA – HPA Ridge, Easterlies To Affect Philippines This June 5, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 5, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the ridge of the High Pressure Area (HPA) will affect extreme northern Luzon, while the easterlies or the warm winds from the east will affect the rest of the country on this day.

According to GMA News, the easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, extreme northern Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving southwestward with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to south direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
