Security Guard Attacks Kindergarten Using Knife Leaving 39 Injured
SECURITY GUARD ATTACKS KINDERGARTEN – An eerie event happened in China as a security guard attacked a kindergarten with a knife.
After the attack, people can’t help but compare it to the incidents in China that happened in that past year. There had been several similar reports of school attack in schools. Authorities attributed this to people holding grudges or those who had repressed mental illnesses.
According to a report from Vancourier, the local government in the Guangxi region’s Cangwu county reported that 37 students were injured in the attack. Along with this, two adults also suffered varying degrees of injuries.

As per the report, the attacker was identified by the authorities as a security named “Li”. Currently, the suspect is being detained with an investigation being underway.
In the previous year, a woman holding a knife injured 14 children also at a kindergarten in the western city of Chongqing in October of 2018. Back in 2010, almost 20 kids were killed in school attacks. Because of this, schools added gates and extra guards as a precaution.
Due to bans in the sale and possession of firearms, attacks in China are generally done with the use of knives or homemade explosives.
