Willie Revillame Reaction To Controversial ABS-CBN Joke Of Harry Roque

Kapuso host Willie Revillame slams Harry Roque and here’s how he reacted to the ABS-CBN joke.

WILLIE REVILLAME – Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has this joke about ABS-CBN shut down and here’s how Willie Revillame dealt with it.

Malacañang spokesperson Harry Roque was GMA-7 program host Willie Revillame’s guest last Wednesday, May 27 in Wowowin. He got invited to talk about some updates in the country regarding the pandemic Coronavirus Diseases 2019 (COVID-19).

Initially, Roque has this statement about the host being the only one people are currently watching on television. And that’s when the mocking joke from the presidential spokesperson came in where he teased Revillame as the reason why the other network has lost their franchise. He even added laughing, “Oh, aminin… aminin.”

Smiling and shaking his head, Revillame defended his former network as a response to the joke of Roque. On a serious note, the host has said, “Sec, wala po akong… Malaki din po ang utang na loob ko sa istasyon na iyan. Doon ako nagsimula, doon ako nakilala, nasa puso ko pa rin iyan. Kapamilya, Kapatid, Kapuso, bawat Pilipino.”

He then plead to the government official not to involve him in the franchise renewal of his former network as he might get criticized. But the spokesperson insisted, “Pero anyway, nag-iisa ka na lang ngayon.”

And at this point, he swayed the talk away from that certain topic and stressed that they have invited Roque as guest to talk about what will happen to the country in the coming months.

To recall, it was 1998 when Willie transferred to ABS-CBN as co-host in the noon time show ‘Sang Linggo nAPO Sila and that was his big break then which paved way for him to become one of the main hosts of Magandang Tanghali Bayan, the replacement of the above-mentioned show.

And in 2005, Wowowee was introduced and despite all the issues and controversies, it was a successful show which aired for five years.
