Willie Revillame is back to giving prizes through his show
Wowowin host Willie Revillame revived his game show online amid the enhanced community quarantine in order to give prizes.
After three weeks of staying at his rest house in Puerto Galera when ECQ was implemented, the game show host is not back in Quezon City with his staff. They immediately set up a place at Wil Tower owned by the host where they can conduct the live streaming for the show.
Based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, Willie’s energy during the show at the studio is still the same even though he has no audience now. It was said that the game show host uses the term “pambili ng bigas” to all the winners as he would give away P10,000.
With this, winners are so happy that they have a chance to avail this kind of help from Willie Revillame. This act of charity has been the main goal of the TV host since the pandemic started. Even the time when he was staying in Puerto Princesa, he was still doing initiatives to help the less fortunate Pinoys.
“Nag-meeting kami ng staff ko, kailangan naming kumilos, kailangan naming magbigay ng tulong na pampinansiyal sa mga kababayan nating kapos na kapos sa ngayon dahil sa lockdown. Ramdam ko sila, ako pa ba? Galing din ako sa hirap, alam ko ang feeling ng wala, kaya suporta ang kailangan nila sa mga panahong ito,” Willie said.
Based on the article, the persons that came into Willie’s mind when the crisis started were those who have nothing to eat once they will not work.
