Grade 12 Student Creates Amazing Artwork Using Excess Wood & Magnifying Glass Amid Pandemic

A grade 12 student create a Last Supper-inspired art using excess wood and magnifying glass during lockdown.

A Facebook user named Robert Delos Reyes Abilong has shared his stunning masterpiece on the social media page “GUHIT Pinas”. His artwork garnered praises and admiration from the online community.

Abilong used an excess 3/4 birch plywood and a magnifying glass to create his art amid the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine. He doesn’t have materials such as acrylics to make a piece so he comes up with a unique idea.

The young artist took a piece of excess wood from the stockroom the used and refraction to burn the design onto the wood with the help of magnifying lens. The teenager completed his piece nearly one week due to unstable weather condition.

Robert used his leisure time and took advantage of the quarantine period to create a unique artwork amid the coronavirus pandemic.
