Nadine Lustre has always been very vocal about her political views
Award-winning actresss Nadine Lustre talked about her braveness in sharing about her opinions in politics and pressing issues in the Philippines.
Nadine has earned the moniker “President” from her fans. In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of veteran journalist Karen Davila, the actress admitted that she had no idea how or who started this moniker but she knew it came from a Twitter post.
Apparently, this was because of her being vocal about what she feels and thinks. Nadine is one of the celebrities who would post social and poltiical issues. She is also open when it comes to the politicians or parties she is supporting.
During the interview with Karen Davila, Nadine Lustre admitted that she is not afraid to express her views about political issues in the country.
“Iilan lang kayong ganyan. I mean, tinanong ko ‘to kay Vice Ganda, ‘yong iba takot. Hindi ka ba natatakot?” the TV Patrol news anchor said.
“Not really. I think, I’m the kind of person who really stands for what I believe in. Unfortunately, a lot of things going on and it’s something you can’t stomach,” Nadine stressed.
The award-winning actress also said it is hard for her to be okay knowing that her fellow Filipinos and everything in the country are not treated well.
In the same interview, Nadine was asked about the possibility of falling in love with her onscreen partner. She said that she already went through that kind of situation and she does not want to go through that again.
To recall, Nadine’s loveteam with James Reid became a relationship off-cam, but they broke up years ago, and the actress is now happy with her boyfriend, Chris Bariou. She said that if she and Chris would breakup, she would probably remain single. The actress highlighted how she and Chris get along well with their interest and views in life.
