A helpful man who grew up without a father makes online videos teaching kids with basic household skills that aren’t taught in school.
A netizen identified as Rob Kenney who grew up without a father started to make several online videos aiming to teach kids with basic household skills. He launched his videos on his YouTube channel “Dad, how do i?”
Rob started his vlog with a tutorial on how to tie a tie and other heartwarming videos on how to perform basic household activities. His videos immediately spread like a wildfire online and earned thousands of views.
Kenney moves to this brother’s mobile home after his father said he did not want kids anymore. His parents get separated and he grew up without a dad.
The YouTuber wants to give insights to those kids who are growing up like, so he decided to make instructional videos. He made use of the quarantine period to teach children of useful skills such as ironing shirt, how to hang a shelf, shaving, unclogging a bathtub drain, and many more.
The man said that he wants to provide useful and practical content to young kids in broken families with different basic tasks, which they can use everyday.
The social media personality also uploaded a video expressing his gratitude and heartfelt thank you for netizens who were supporting his contents.
“If I fail, if you’re gonna fail as a dad; it’s part of the human experience. You aren’t gonna always do things right, so I think it’s very important to ask for forgiveness and not pretend that you’ve got it all figured out. ‘Cause your kids are gonna find out sooner or later that you don’t have it figured out when they grow up, right?” Kenney said.
