The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-National Capital Region (NCR) Director Vicente Gregorio Tomas, said the deadline for distribution of the first tranche was extended to May 13. LGUs who do not meet the May 10 deadline will be given a chance until tomorrow for distribution.

Thomas said the list of “left-outs” or those not included in the list of sap beneficiaries is currently being assessed by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and the economic managers. The names of the “left-outs” are subject to cross matching and validation.

According to the report of RMN, they are still discussing the SAP distribution reports of 17 LGUs in the NCR, among them, only the Caloocan City has already completed the distribution, the director said.  He also added that by May 9, a total of 1,145,117 families have served, receiving more than P9.16 billion worth of cash subsidies.

Meanwhile, DSWD Sec. Rolando Bautista said Malacañang is expected to issue an executive order this week that will serve as the basis and rule for implementing SAP’s second phase.
