PAGASA – Low Pressure Area Spotted, Easterlies To Affect Parts Of PH This May 9, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this May 9, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the warm winds from the east or easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao

According to a report from GMA News a low pressure area or LPA was last seen at around 890 kilometers east of Davao City.

The easterlies, as well as localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

The weather system will bring no significant impact, according to the weather bureau.

Based on the report, for the forecast wind speed, the eastern section of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast to north with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The northern and central Luzon will have light winds that are moving variously with slight coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast to various directions with slight to moderate coastal waters.
