A poor old man reportedly passes away on his way home after failing to get the social amelioration cash assistance from the government.
Many Filipino people are already suffering with their financial necessities due to the effects of the enhanced community quarantine, which suspends some business establishments and small entrepreneurs.
The livelihoods of some of our less-fortunate countrymen have been halted as a part of the lockdown protocols, which aims to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease.

Recently, the Facebook page “Susmaryosep” shared the heartbreaking photo of a poor old man in Cebu who allegedly passed away on his way home after failing to receive financial aid. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The social media page reported that the unidentified old man went to barangay hall to claim the financial assistance being given by the Philippine government to the poor Filipino families. The senior citizen falls in line early in the morning hoping to receive cash aid.
Unfortunately, one of the workers told him that he is not qualified due to lack of documents for validation. The disappointed man decided to go home but he died on his way home due to his illness.
