The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau said that the northeasterly surface windflow (NESWF) will affect northern Luzon while the easterlies or warm winds of the east will affect the eastern part of the Philippines on this day.

A report from GMA News states that the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorm over Caraga and Davao regions.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during moderate to heavy rains.

The NESWF, on the other hand, will bring cloudy skies with isolated light rains over BAtanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands.

Lastly, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the forecast wind speed, the northern and western sections of northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds that are moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
