Police officers reportedly arrest a resident for wearing a towel instead of face mask but the food for his family gets spoiled.

Nowadays, the health workers and police authorities are urging the public to wear face masks when going to public places to avoid the possible exposure to coronavirus disease. Improvised face cover such as handkerchief or a piece of cloth will do.

A Facebook user named Aballe Judith Bordios has expressed her disappointment towards some police officers who arrested her husband for wearing a towel instead of a face mask. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

Bordios said that her husband went to the market at San Fernando, Pampanga to buy food. The guy is about to go home when police patrol apprehended him for not wearing a facemask and just using a towel to cover his face.

Judith explained that her husband has a quarantine pass and identification card aside from the face mask. She also stressed out that the food bought by her husband for their family gets spoiled for holding him for a couple of hours.
