Kind Syrian Surprised Garbage Collectors with Trash Bin Filled with Groceries
The kind Syrian national Basel goes viral after he surprised the garbage collector in their village when he gave a trash bin filled with groceries.
Famous vlogger and philanthropist Basel Manadil is also known as The Hungry Syrian Wanderer with a Filipino heart despite being Syrian. Basel does not hesitate to help the people in need, who are almost beyond measure.
Basel’s Facebook page shows the garbage collectors who regularly pick up their garbage. Basel said that he waited for them to give the mini trash bin he made filled with groceries.
“Inabangan ko po sila and I surprised them and made some ‘mini trash bins’ full of groceries,” said Basel in his Facebook.
He added that he has done little to help them amid the enhanced community quarantine. Basel said their garbage collector will also be considered as frontliners during this crisis.
Therefore, he wholeheartedly commends them for their service in keeping our area clean and safe despite the high risk of COVID19. It can be seen on the faces of the garbage collector that they were engulfed in joy by the surprise they received from the good foreigner.
