After the World Health Organization (WHO) declared it a pandemic, people start hoarding goods in the supermarkets. They are panic buying alcohol, tissues and face masks. They also purchase large amounts of food to make sure they won’t starve during the quarantine. Surely, there are families right now who we’re late to buy snacks or meals in bulk.
Recently, a mom named Stephanie Craig shared her ‘snack system’ on social media. Her gimmick encourages her son to do chores during the coronavirus quarantine. Her genius way of encouraging her son to do chores earned praise from the online community.
Her 9-year-old son has to earn Monopoly money to buy his favorite snacks on his mom’s pantry. Stephanie shared the photos of her “store” on her Facebook account.
In the caption, Stephani Craig said that she’s working from home now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She will be with her son for three weeks so she decided to come up with something to break from the tedium.
The photos were uploaded on March 20, her brilliant idea has garnered 127 thousand reactions, 91 comments, 398 thousand shares as of this writing.
“I’m working from home for the next 3 weeks. I have ONE child. Y’all mommas with one child know how bored they can get. During my working hours the store is open. He can buy TV time, Xbox time and game time,” she wrote.
