NBI spokesperson said that they have already sent the letter to the young mayor where it stated that he has to go to their office on April 7. This is to clarify some things he did amid the lockdown such as allowing tricycle operation in Pasig despite public transportation suspension.

However, this happened way before and when his pleas were not granted by the national government, he complied to the directives immediately. This is way before the said law he accordingly violated was passed. Bayanihan law passed just this March 24 and his plea and compliance happened around March 17 and March 18.

Now, after everything, he left a message to his people. He assured them that he got everything fixed and they need not to be worried over the issues. The young mayor also told the Pasig residents that even national officials said that it wasn’t right and what’s important is for them to continue working.

Sotto also expressed his gratitude for their cooperation. The distribution of relief goods to the people continues as well as the cash assistance to the PUV drivers worth Php 4,000.00. He updated them that financial help from the national government is also coming.
