President Duterte To “Troublemakers” Amid Crisis: ‘Shoot them dead’

‘Ilibing ko na kayo’: says President Duterte as he ordered soldiers and cops to shoot troublemakers.

PRESIDENT DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte ordered cops and soldiers to “shoot dead” persons who are making troubles and violations amid lockdown.

On Wednesday night, after the commotion in Quezon City where the residents rallied begging for food and help from their local government, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte declared something. Clearly, what happened was a violation of the regulations brought about by the enhanced community quarantine but the hungry and helpless people were left with no choice but to be violent.

“My orders are sa pulis pati military, pati mga barangay na pagka ginulo at nagkaroon ng okasyon na lumaban at ang buhay ninyo ay nalagay sa alanganin, shoot them dead,” he said as per source. He stated that if the people wanted chaos, he will never hesitate to give them what they are asking.

“Naintindihan ninyo? Patay. Eh kaysa maggulo kayo diyan, eh ‘di ilibing ko na kayo. Ah ‘yung libing, akin ‘yan. Huwag ninyo subukan ang gobyerno kasi itong gobyerno na ito hindi inutil,” Duterte added.

Luzon is now on the third week of their month-long enhanced community quarantine in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). His order to shoot those who caused trouble amid the lockdown is applicable if the law enforcers’ lives are put at risk.

Meanwhile, as of latest update from the Department of Health (DOH), they have recorded 227 new cases of coronavirus in the country which brings us a total of 2,311 with 96 fatalities and 50 recoveries.
