Poor Old Man Breaks Netizens Hearts After He Was Left to Fend for Himself Amid Coronavirus Outbreak in Philippines
A poor old man left to fend for himself as the coronavirus disease amid the coronavirus outbreak in the Philippines.
The coronavirus disease 2019 is currently spreading in different countries all around the world and affects thousands of people. The health scare causes fear and panic to the people prompting a lot of countries to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
Recently, a Facebook user named Ma. Elena Borres Canillas is trying to help poor Filipino people who were severely affected by the health crisis. Canillas together with her friends wants to donate groceries to their less-fortunate countrymen.
The 25-year-old Good Samaritan found an old man identified as Lolo Berning in barangay Lawa-an Roxas City Capiz. The poor man is living alone in a shack and trying to do the best he can with the small amount he received from his daughter.
Elena said that Lolo Berning’s neighbors are giving him foods sometimes but he was left alone after the coronavirus disease hits the Philippines. The lady netizen also said that the old man dreams to have a simple bahay kubo someday.
