Update on Quezon City Coronavirus Cases Amid COVID-19 Outbreak in PH
QUEZON CITY CORONAVIRUS CASES – The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in QC has exceeded 100.
The Philippines has an increasing trend of the confirmed cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus for more than a week now. Based on the update of the Department of Health (DOH), there is now a total of 803 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the country.
Currently, the entire Luzon is under an enhanced community quarantine to curb the spread of COVID-19. It is where most cases of coronavirus were recorded.
Aside from the entire Luzon being under an ECQ, several provinces are also set to implement an ECQ next week. The whole PH now is under a state of calamity over coronavirus.
One of the cities with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases is Quezon City. It is led by Mayor Joy Belmonte.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, there are 7 new Quezon City coronavirus cases recorded recently bringing the total to 104. The said new cases were recorded in:
- Barangay Bungad
- Barangay E. Rodriguez
- Barangay San Roque
- Teachers Village East
- Teachers Village West
- New Era
- Pasong Tamo
According to the report, three (3) new coronavirus deaths were recorded in QC. It bring the total to 17. Nine (9) patients have recovered from the disease.
Reportedly, there are 55 patients under investigation in the city now. The total number of persons under monitoring is 280.
