Update on Iza Calzado’s COVID-19 Test Result
IZA CALZADO – The result of the test of the actress for the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 was released.
The 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 exempts no one. It has infected several prominent personalities in the different countries. This disease is a pandemic now as announced by the World Health Organization (WHO).
In the Philippines, there is now a total of 803 confirmed cases of coronavirus. The authorities are advising everyone to stay at home to curb the spread of the disease.
The first member of the Philippine showbiz industry to test positive for coronavirus is veteran actor Christopher de Leon. He was quick to isolate himself and to inform the public about it so everyone who had a contact with him can monitor themselves.
Actress Iza Calzado‘s also hospitalized for pneumonia. She tested for coronavirus. Recently, the actress received the result of her test for COVID-19.
Based on the social media post of Pep entertainment writer Noel Ferrer, Iza Calzado tested positive for coronavirus. Meanwhile, Noel assured that the actress is recovering now.
Iza was treated for pneumonia and COVID-19. She can now breath even without an oxygen assistance. Based on the post, Ben Wintle, her husband, and other people who have interacted with her are not showing any symptoms of coronavirus.
The actress will be tested again to see if she is already negative for COVID-19. She has no idea as to where she contracted the virus.
