RUBY RODRIGUEZ – The sister of the Kapuso television host, Dr. Sally Gatchalian, died of coronavirus or COVID-19.

In the Philippines, there is now a total of 636 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Some of the patients have a travel history abroad while others do not have. Some had contacts with those who tested positive for COVID-19.

The said disease is the biggest global concern now. It has affected several countries including China where it was first recorded, United States, Italy, and Canada.

In PH, several doctors contracted the 2019 novel coronavirus. One of them is Dr. Sally Gatchalian, the sister of Eat Bulaga host Ruby Rodriguez.

Sadly, recently, Ruby Rodriguez confirmed that Dr. Sally Gatchalian died of coronavirus. The Kapuso TV host’s sister is the 9th doctor to die of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

On social media, Ruby posted a heartfelt tribute for Doc Sally. She posted two (2) photos taken last December 2019. She stated that she will remember the doctor with the “happy memories” and her “johnson outfits”.

The Kapuso TV host revealed that her sister is also a fan of Korean dramas which also hooked her. She will also remember their Sunday lunches together and their trips.

Based on the post of Ruby, their other siblings are in the United States that is why it’s her and Doc Sally who would usually go on “bonding trips”. She told her sister not to worry about them anymore.
