NETFLIX – The website of streaming site Netflix refused to load. Mostly users in the US and Europe are affected by the outages.

Strict quarantine measures are implemented to halt the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus. People across the globe are advised to stay indoors to avoid getting infected with the deadly virus from China.

Soldiers, cops, doctors and healthcare front liners are exempted from the coronavirus lockdown. Meanwhile, people who are currently staying in their homes have their own way to endure the quarantine.

In a previous article, streaming site Netflix announced that they are now offering cheaper mobile plan in the Philippines. Pinoy consumers can watch Netflix movies and tv shows for only 149.

The company recently announced that they will reduce the quality of their videos because they expected that the number of their users will increase during the lockdown.

Based on Techrunch.com, the popular streaming site is currently experiencing outages. Users in the United States and Europe have been left fuming because they couldn’t access the site.

Down Detector said consumers began reporting the issue around on Wednesday, March 25, 12 pm Eastern Standard Time. Users are still unable to connect to the app.

According to the report, Netflix left a note on their help pages saying “We are currently experiencing a higher than normal wait time for support via phone and chat. Please try again later or check our online help center for answers to frequently asked questions. Thank you for your patience.”

Millions of people are currently relying on the streaming site for entertainment while under community quarantine.
