Veteran actresses lambasted Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
MAYOR JOY BELMONTE – These famous and veteran actresses have lambasted Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and how she would handle the coronavirus cases in her area.
Previously, three of the patients who tested positive for the coronavirus in Quezon City were sent back home according to Mayor Joy Belmonte due to lack of facilities and space for them. It was shocking and disturbing to her as these patients live in dense areas. These patients were accordingly just showing very mild symptoms.
Upon confirmation that three coronavirus positive were sent home, the head of the QC got heavily criticized and this have made many people furious. There is high possibility that more people would get infected because three were returned back to their respective homes and they did not even disclosed the area as it would only create panic.
With this, veteran actresses such Tetchie Agbayani, Jaclyn Jose, Laurice Guillen, and among others lambasted the mayor and got bothered over the situation in Quezon City.

Te recall, in a previous article, the female mayor also got criticized due to her words versus her critics and haters. She indicated then, “To those who hate me, you are under no obligation to accept any of my projects – housing, education, healthcare, social benefits. That means there will be more for those who truly have faith in me as their leader.”
Belmonte is among the most controversial mayors of today amid the health crisis as she is deemed to be as someone who lacks effort and sympathy to her people.
