Netizen Expose Arrogant Tanod Threatens Residents with Gun
A concerned netizen exposes an arrogant barangay Tanod with a gun who threatens residents amid community quarantine imposed.
Amid the continues spread of the coronavirus, President Rodrigo Duterte declares Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine as prevention against the virus. Under the lockdown’s guidelines, Filipinos in Luzon can only leave their homes to access “basic necessities.”
Duterte said that barangays will be in charge of supplying food to residents and take care of their continents. However, there are irresponsible officials amid Duterte’s warning.
Recently, a concerned netizen named Joey Mendoza exposes an arrogant official in Barangay 176 Bagong Silang, Caloocan City. Armed barangay official threatens residents amid quarantine imposed.
The photos show that the official was carrying a gun as he warned and accosted residents to stay at home. On the caption written on the post, netizen calls out authorities for expedient practice.
Photos of an arrogant official have gone viral on social media as many netizens condemned him and consider his actions is illegal. A barangay Tanod is prohibited to use a gun amid operations.
