COVID-19 Can’t Stop Manila String Machine in Delivering Beautiful Performance

COVID-19 – String quartet group Manila String Machine did a cover of one of ‘Crash Landing On You’s official soundtrack during the pandemic.

The South Korean drama ‘Crash Landing On You’ is one of the most talk-about tv series in the Philippines. The hit k-drama is a story of how a North Korean soldier and a wealthy South Korean woman met and fell in love. 

In a previous article, ABS-CBN’s chief content officer Charo Santos and Queen of All Media Kris Aquino were spotted engaging in small talk over watching the hit tv series. It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda asked his co-host Ryan Bang about North Korea as he wanted to visit Pyongyang.

Although ‘Crash Landing On You’ ended last February it continues to be at the number 1 spot on Netflix Philippines. Lead stars Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin donated millions to help South Korea fight against the coronavirus.

The imposed “enhanced community quarantine” brought by the novel coronavirus pandemic did not stop the Manila String Machine from delivering their beautiful cover of one of the Korean series’ official soundtrack.

The string quartet group did a cover of Captain Ri Jeong Hyuk’s “Piano Song For Brother.” They dedicated their performance to all the k-drama lovers in the country who are now confined in their homes. 

“Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were confined in our own homes and were interested in watching the KDrama CLOY. Turned out to be a beautiful series, capturing our hearts and enchanting our imaginations. Here’s to all K-Drama fans… recorded in the confines of our homes – Las Piñas, San Juan, Quezon City and Antipolo we did this video for you all!” they said on the description of their Youtube post.
