Due to “Crash Landing On You” fever, Vice Ganda wanted to go to North Korea.
VICE GANDA – Kapamilya host and artist Vice Ganda asks Ryan Bang about North Korea in curiosity after watching hit Korean series “Crash Landing On you”.
“Crash Landing On You” is currently among the most talk-about Korean series even here in the Philippines despite it has already ended. This hit series is about the story of two star crossed lovers, Yoon Se-ri, a South Korean heiress, and Ri Jeong-hyuk, a member of the North Korean elite who is also an army officer. Circumstances made their paths meet as they took the course for her to return to her land safely, they unexpectedly fell in love with each other.
Now, with the craze brought about by this beautiful story, Kapamilya host and artist Vice Ganda, in Its Showtime, just suddenly asked Ryan Bang, a Korean who is currently based in the country, about North Korea as he wanted to specifically go to Pyongyang.
Bang answered that it is possible to go there as a tourist for Vice but not for him because he is a South Korean and he is not allowed to. He advised, meanwhile, for Vice not to go there. Also, he doesn’t know further details about how to go to North Korea.

On the other hand, why is it that Korea is divided into two: North and South? Accordingly, the North and South are separated politically and geographically for seven decades already that these two have turned out to two different worlds already. They differ in terms of citizen’s rights, laws and order, economies, societies, and daily life.
