Laguna frontliners have to improvise for their PPEs
Wearing improvised PPEs or personal protective equipment, these Laguna frontliners fighting against COVID-19 caught the attention of many netizens.
Those who are in the medical field taking care of patients in hospitals and clinics amid the coronavirus outbreak had to wear protection for themselves as well. However, frontliners in the province of Laguna already run out of PPEs that is why they needed to improvise in order for them not to get infected also.
Netizen Tes Depano, who is working at St. Jude Hospital in Los Banos, Laguna shared photos of frontliners wearing PPEs made from plastics. The netizen called out the attention of the Department of Health (DOH) as well as those who are in the private sectors who could donate PPEs to the Laguna frontliners.
“Naubos na po kasi ang PPE namin sa kaming hospital at wala na aming mabilihan. Kaya nag improvise na lang kami para kahit papaano mapanatiling ligtas ang aming mga staff,” Depano shared. She also thanked the untiring support and effort of frontliners in their province.
