DOH’s Record of COVID-19 Cases in the Philippines Increase by 32
DOH – The Department of Health confirmed 32 new cases of the COVID-19 in the Philippines.
The Philippines is one of the countries across the globe that is on a fight against the 2019 novel coronavirus. First emerged in China, the said disease is officially called as COVID-19.
In PH, eighteen (18) people died of coronavirus while eight (8) patients have recovered from the disease. In most of the death cases, the patients are aged 50 years old and above with underlying conditions.
The entire Philippines is now under a state of calamity. Most patients are in Metro Manila which prompted President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to declare an enhanced community quarantine in the whole of Luzon.
Previously, the total confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Philippines is at 230. Recently, the Department of Health gave an update.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, speaking to DZMM, the DOH confirmed 32 new cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines. It brings the total number of coronavirus cases to 262 now.
According to the health department, the coronavirus testing would be quicker as more laboratories are going online. Three (3) state hospitals were also designated for the coronavirus patients.
