Netizens Slam Desperate Lady Selling Protective Gears Against COVID-19 for Higher Price
A desperate lady purchased bulks of face masks, alcohol, gloves, and other protective gear against COVID-19 and resell them online for a higher price.
Over the past few weeks, Filipino people have been already in fear and panic due to the rampant spread of coronavirus disease all around the globe. The virus has already infected thousands of people.
The health scare has caused panic buying of medical supplies including face masks, alcohol, gloves, disinfectants, and other personal protective equipment to avoid being infected by the deadly virus.
Unfortunately, hoarders started to multiply and purchased a massive amount of medical supplies. They are taking advantage of the situation and reselling the protective gear on social media at a higher price.
Recently, the Facebook page “Pinoy Trending News” has shared the video footage of a desperate lady who bought a massive amount of protective equipment against COVID-19 and reselling it online.
In the video, it can be seen that the woman initially expressed her sympathy to those who were affected by the coronavirus outbreak. Eventually, she introduced her products including face masks, alcohol, and gloves.
The unidentified lady is selling the medical supplies for a higher price without considering the situation of her fellow countrymen.
