Spokesman of US Vice President Staff Said His Staff Tested Positive for Coronavirus

US VICE PRESIDENT STAFF – A staff of United States Vice President Mike Pence was confirmed positive for the 2019 coronavirus.

The United States was not spared from the infection that is rampant in several countries nowadays – it is caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus or officially called as COVID-19.

Yesterday, March 20, the confirmed cases of coronavirus in U.S. exceeded 10,000. The country is the sixth nation with regards to the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

U.S. President Donald Trump has already declared a national emergency in the whole country. It released a huge fund to be allotted for the improvement of the nation’s healthcare amid the fight against coronavirus.

Recently, another update about the coronavirus in America crossed the surface. Based on a report on Inquirer, a US Vice President staff tested positive for coronavirus.

The spokesman of U.S. Vice President Mike Pence made the announcement. Pence is the head of the coronavirus response in Washington.

According to Pence’s spokeswoman, Katie Miller, neither Vice President Pence or Pres. Trump had a contact with the said staff. Contact tracing is now conducted.
