Heart Evangelista Talks to Cancer Patient Who Walked Until She Gets to PGH
Actress Heart Evangelista reached out to the one-legged cancer patient who walked from Masinag to the checkpoint to get to PGH for a check-up.
Recently, Cynthia Esperitu has gone viral after her inspiring story was featured on GMA Public Affairs Facebook page. Esperitu who was diagnosed with bone cancer and had only one leg had to walk from Masinag in Antipolo City to government checkpoint amid ongoing enhance community quarantined due to coronavirus (COVID-19).
Esperitu need to undergo monthly check-up at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) in Ermita, Manila. She walked with crutches as her support to get to checkpoint to meet the person who will pick her up and will bring her to PGH.
Meanwhile, Esperitu couldn’t contain her joy when the Kapuso actress and style icon talked to her via Messenger video on Thursday. She said on her Facebook post “”I still can’t believe. Ms heart totoo ba ito. Napakasaya ng puso ko sobra.”
She also thanked the actress for making the effort to see her. “Can’t wait to meet in person soon. Mabuhay ka ms heart. God bless you,” written on her post.
