Kapuso Stars Thanks COVID-19 Frontliners

KAPUSO STARS – Several Kapuso stars thanked the frontliners who are working hard to fight the coronavirus outbreak.

Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte imposed strict quarantine measures in Luzon to contain the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19. Mass gatherings and travel are restricted for 1 month.

The chief executive asked the public to stay home during the quarantine period. Frontliners are among those exempted from the work-from-home arrangement.

On Thursday, Kapuso actor Michael V. uploaded a video on his Youtube Channel expressing his gratitude to the people who are risking their lives to fight the spread of the deadly virus in the country. He considered the cops, soldiers, and medical workers as heroes.

“Buti na lang naging komedyate ako, kasi hindi ako kasing-skilled niyo, hindi ako kasing tapang niyo… Walang ibang makakagawa ng ginagawa ninyo kung di kayo. And for that, I thank you…(Ang) buong bansa, malaki ang utang na loob sa inyo and we will continue to pray for your safety dahil literal na nakasalalay ang buhay ng mga kababayan natin sa mga kamay ninyong lahat.”

“At this point, part na kayo ng history as heroes dito sa fight against the coronavirus. So stay safe, and may God bless us all,” he added.

The 50-year-old comedian also compiled meaningful messages for the frontlines from the cast of “Pepito Manaloto” and “Bubble Gang” who want to express their gratitude to them.
