Because the virus that causes COVID-19 is highly contagious, health officials recommend that the public should practice social distancing. Avoid mass gatherings, handshakes or other body contacts.
Social distancing also includes the diversification of at least one meter from people coughing or sneezing. They cause small liquid droplets that may have a virus that can enter your body’s system when you inhale.
Meanwhile, the usual situation of commuters at MRT changed amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) threat to Filipino after confirming, positive patients in NCR continues to increase. but in conjunction with the community quarantine in Metro Manila is also now implementing social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In a Facebook post of Roy Joseph Roberto, he shares a photo showing the current situation of commuters lining in the train station to board the train. Netizens lauded the disciplined and safety measures of commuters.
Sadly, though, COVID-19 had to happen to bring out the discipline of Filipinos, says other netizens. Some netizens also thank the Filipino community for doing social distancing for the benefit of all. They also wished it will last and should be maintained after the COVID-19 threat is gone.
