Situation during the Bacolod community quarantine.
BACOLOD COMMUNITY QUARANTINE – This is the situation at Bacolod-Talisay border after community quarantine was implemented.
With the alarming growth of confirmed coronavirus in the Philippines, health officials and various leaders from different part of the country announced community quarantine. The entire Luzon was put in state of “enhanced community quarantine“.
Meanwhile, among which under strict community quarantine is Bacolod City where it has been announced and implemented immediately. This is after Mayor Evelio “Bing” Leonardia released the executive order, late night of March 15, 2020.
Social distancing is strongly and strictly suggested, however, in Bacolod’s situation, some photos exhibits a large mass of people in the border of Bacolod City and Talisay City. According to Aksyon Radyo Bacolod page, Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Deputy City Director for Administration and concurrent Police Station 3 Commander Police Lt. Col. Levy Pangue says that there are approximately 2,000 people in long lines and in close distance to each other. They are being checked one by one.

The same with other cities, Bacolod City would restrict the travel by land, sea, and air but transportation of goods and food supplies to and from the city will not be blocked. However, the delivery personnel will undergo careful health procedure for checking purposes.
The confirmed cases in the country already jumped to 140 and the deaths rise to 12. COVID-19 is now considered pandemic and have affected many people and establishments already.
