HEART EVANGELISTA – GMA-7 actress Heart Evangelista is dealing with the novel coronavirus threat in style.
Kapuso actress, philanthropist, and model Heart Evangelista is the wife of former Senator Chiz Escudero. Last month, she went to Paris, France to attend the Paris Fashion Week. She made headlines after she met up with the big names in the fashion world.
Among the socialite friends she got reunited at the fashion event include ‘Crazy Rich Asian’ author Kevin Kwan, Singaporean socialite Jamie Chua, and Vogue editors Tonne Goodman and Hammish Bowles. In a report, Heart revealed that her headband during the PFW is from Quiapo. “70 pesos for four pieces, nakarating na siya ng Paris,” she said.
The Filipina fashion icon faces the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) threat with style. She makes her own creative face masks.
On Wednesday, Heart Evangelista showed a video of herself designing her own face mask with Hermes and Chanel designer ribbons. She uploaded the clip on her Instagram stories.
“You just have to be creative,” Heart said.
Heart Evangelista said that “life goes on” as she has to go for work despite the concern of the deadly coronavirus in the country. “We are making ourselves fashionably safe,” she added.
In a previous article, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the coronavirus a pandemic. China, United States, Hong Kong, Italy, Singapore, Iran, France, and the Philippines are among the countries with confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Currently, the Pinoys are on the tight watch for the increasing number of infected patients in the country. The country now has 49 confirmed cases of the disease, including 2 deaths.
