‘Crazy Rich Asians’ sequel will feature Heart Evangelista as one of the lead stars?
Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista is assumed to be one of the lead stars of Crazy Rich Asians sequel, the China Rich Girlfriend.
CRA from the book Kevin Kwan made a huge hit in Hollywood with its all-Asian cast.
It gave an opportunity for Filipinos to be known also in the international movie scene as Kris Aquino played the character of Princess Intan in the movie.
Though it was just a cameo role, no doubt that it paved the way for Filipinos to have a career in Hollywood.
For the sequel of the said movie, it was mentioned in the report from Pang-Masa that Heart Evangelista will play a major role in the movie.
It can be recalled that the Kapuso actress previously hinted about a secret. Some speculated that it was about her pregnancy while some it is for her new project.
The latter speculation drew a lot of attention when she shared on her Instagram account that she flew to China.
Many of her social media followers are guessing that she is really a part of the Crazy Rich Asians sequel.
Based on the report, there have been rumors that Heart Evangelista got a lead role in China Rich Girlfriend.
This could mean that she is part of the billing of the movie. Heart will also be included in the gatherings of the main characters as well as official photo shoots.
In line with this, the opportunity will also open doors for other Filipino artists to be included in international films just like other Asian artists such as Nancy Kwan and Toshiro Mifune, based on the report.
After all, no one can deny the talent of Filipinos in portraying various roles.
