Last week many were shocked upon hearing the news that the van of the Kapamilya actress was shot by gunmen riding a motorcycle. Despite of what happened last Wednesday morning, she managed to go straight to her taping that day.
That garnered a lot of admiration from many netizens but former broadcast journalist Jay Sonza slammed the actress as that was one of his points why he called the ambush story of Kim as “isang malaking drawing”.
As the actress pointed out in her post that she was thinking that it was just a case of mistaken identity, speculations of who could be the real target of the gunmen surfaced. Based on the article from PEP, a source revealed that it was indeed a case of mistaken identity.
It was said that the gunmen thought that they were shooting the real target because Kim and that person have the similar model and color of van. Additionally, the actress and the real target allegedly live in the same village.
Based on the article, when the real target will surface, this will end the speculations that the ambush was just made up. The Quezon City Police District now has the CCTV footages showing that the suspects were really following the van of the actress.
Major Elmer Monsalve, chief of Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit said that the suspects were waiting for the van of the actress, based on the article.
“Kung papaano dumaan yung sasakyan nitong aktres na si Kim Chiu, makikita mo na nag-iisa lang siya. Tapos may biglang sumulpot na isang motor na naghihintay na doon sa subdivision. Nakaabang na talaga sa paglabas niya,” Major Monsalve said.
