ABS-CBN network to stop admitting live studio audience for the mean time.
ABS-CBN NETWORK – The Kapamilya network, ABS-CBN, releases statement as they will temporarily stop admitting live studio audience.
On March 9, along with the quick increase of numbers of persons who got infected with the COVID-19, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has declared a state of public health emergency. And on March 10, an update as of early morning, it already hit 24 persons.
With this, Kapuso noontime show ‘Eat Bulaga’ announced that they will no longer allow entrance of live studio audience due to coronavirus threat. On their statement, they have stated there that this implementation will start immediately but will only be for temporary due to the fact that the country is currently in state of public health emergency.
Thus, ABS-CBN network also did the same and announced that starting March 10, they will also temporarily stop live studio audience admission which affects programs such as “It’s Showtime,” “ASAP Natin ‘To,” “Magandang Buhay,” “Banana Sundae,” and “I Can See Your Voice.”

“ABS-CBN has decided to temporarily stop admitting studio audience to its shows starting today (10 March 2020), following the government’s declaration of a state of public health emergency. The affected TV programs include “It’s Showtime,” “ASAP Natin ‘To,” “Magandang Buhay,” “Banana Sundae,” and “I Can See Your Voice.”
The safety and well-being of our studio audience, artists, crew, and production teams are of utmost importance to us and we are taking this option for their protection. We feel that it is our shared responsibility to help in preventing the spread of the COVID-19.
