About The King

Henry VIII is the king of England in the year 1509 until 1547. He is well known for, clearly, the six women he married.

He made the English Reformation, a movement separating the church of England from the authority of the pope as a result of his quarrel with the pope due to his annulment.

He is known as the father of the Royal Navy due to his investment in the navy which increased their number of ships to more than 50, eventually forming the Navy Board.
