Marcelito Pomoy Impresses Once Again W/ Fellow AGT Contenders
MARCELITO POMOY – Pinoy pride Marcelito Pomoy impressed the AGT: The Champions judges and the crowd with Queens ‘We Are The Champions.’
Filipino singer Marcelito Pomoy gained popularity after winning ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ in 2012. He has the ability to perform both male and female voices.
The 35-year-old artist decided to show off his amazing talent into the international stage by joining ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions.’ All of his performances received a standing ovation from the judges and the studio audience.
On Tuesday, February 18, AGT: The Champions finally announced the winner of the talent contest. The Indian dance crew V Unbeatable was hailed as the champion of the talent contests’ second season while Marcelito Pomoy finished as the 3rd runner-up.
The Pinoy pride was speechless when asked for a message. The host, Terry Crews, called his wife Joan Pomoy to speak for him. She said the contest is a “big opportunity for him.”
Meanwhile, one of the AGT: The Champion judges, Alesha Dixon, took to Tweeter to ask if she’s not the only one who’s shocked at the results. “Wow. I’m shocked. @marcelitopomoy8 takes 4th place. Are you shocked as well?! #AGTChampions,” she wrote.
Marcelito Pomoy continues to impress the judges and the crowd in the United States as he performed for the last time on the AGT stage last Tuesday. He took the limelight with his fellow contenders Hans, Duo Transcend, Russian Bar, and Boogie Storm. The Filipino singer performed Queen’s classic song “We Are the Champions.”
The studio audience and the judges – Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Howie Mandell, and Heidi Klum – were all on their feet by the end of their performance.
