MARCELITO POMOY – Here is the reaction of Marcelito Pomoy after being named as ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’ 3rd runner-up.
Filipino singer Marcelito Pomoy is known for his dual voice. He can sing both male and female. He joined the second edition of ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions.”
The 35-year-old performer received a standing ovation from the studio audience and the judges of the prestigious talent competition after he performed the “The Prayer.”
Marcelito Pomoy channeled Peabo Bryson and Celine Dion’s song “Beauty and the Beast” during the semifinals of AGT: The Champions. The AGT champion Shin Lim commended the Filipino singer. He said Marcelito is his favorite act to win the competition.
The Pinoy pride advanced to the finals with Sandou Tio Russian Bar, Hans, Alexa Lauenburer, V Unbeatable, Angelina Jordan, Tyler Butler-Figueroa, Boogie Storm, Duo Transcend, and Silhouettes.
On Tuesday, America’s Got Talent finally announced the winners of the talent competition. Marcelito Pomoy finished as the 3rd runner-up of AGT. After being named as the 3rd runner-up, the Pinoy singer was seen speechless so the host called his wife Joan Pomoy to speak for him.
“He just wanted to say ‘thank you, thank you so much for everybody.’ This is a big, big opportunity for him. That’s all. Thank you so much,” she said.
It can be remembered that Marcelito mentioned that Simon Cowell and his team were the ones who chose his song.
