Young Doctor Dies After Working on Frontlines Against Virus for 10 Days Straight

A 28-year-old doctor dies after he had been working for 10 days straight to fight against the deadly coronavirus outbreak from apparent exhaustion.

These past days, hospitals in China are now experiencing severe overcrowding due to the growing number of patients infected with the deadly Wuhan virus. As a result, doctors and nurses are forced to work non-stop.

Doctors and medical staff are exerting efforts to fight against the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak. Some have even resorted to wearing diapers because they don’t have enough time to use the toilet.

Recently, 28-year-old Song Yingjie was the deputy team leader of the pharmacy group at a health center in Hengshan county, Hunan province has died due to apparent exhaustion for working non-stop.

According to the report of Shanghai, after the virus outbreak became apparent in China, Song was assigned on January 23 to a local expressway inspection team. He was also responsible for distributing medical supplies to his colleagues.

For almost 10 days, Song worked as much and as hard as he possibly could. Unfortunately, He was found lifeless in his room after he went back to her dormitory to rest on February 3.

According to reports, he allegedly died from sudden cardiac arrest caused by exhaustion and overwork. Truly, he will be considered as a hero for sacrificing his rest and himself to fight against the virus.
