Class Suspensions for Monday (February 3) Due To nCoV

WALANG PASOK – Several schools and universities have declared class suspensions due to the 2019 novel coronavirus.

Over the past few weeks, the 2019 novel coronavirus has become the headlines of both local and international news companies. The health scare is one of the most trending topics on social media.

The coronavirus is currently spreading in different countries all around the world and continues to affect thousands of people. The mysterious disease has already killed several people in China.

Class Suspensions

Last week, the Department of Health confirmed the first case of coronavirus in the Philippines. On weekend, a man from Wuhan, China has died in the Philippines causing fear and panic to the Filipinos. The patient is the boyfriend of the Chinese lady who was declared the first nCoV patient in the country.

Meanwhile, the classes are still suspended in several areas, schools, colleges, and universities due to the coronavirus. The class cancellation has been declared to ensure the safety of the students.

  • Chiang Kai Shek College – suspended until February 8
  • Hope Christian High School – class resumption on February 10
  • Philippine Cultural College – suspended until February 8
  • St. Jude Catholic School – suspended until February 8
  • St. Stephen’s High School – class resumption on February 10
  • Tiong Se Academy – class resumption on February 10
