PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this January 23, 2020.

In the latest update from the bureau, the entire Philippines will be affected by the northeast monsoon or amihan.

According to GMA, the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered light rains over eastern Visayas and Caraga.

Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, as well as the rest of the country.

As per the report, for the forecast wind speed, the eastern section of the country will have strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction with rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country, on the other hand, will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast to east direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.
