Cops Arrest Maid For Allegedly Dipping Toddler’s Hand in Boiling Pot Repeatedly
The cops arrested a maid who is accused of dipping toddler’s hand in boiling pot repeatedly causing scalds and burns.
A netizen named Amy Low Mei Liang has posted 45-second surveillance footage showing how a maid dipped the hand of a 16-month-old baby. Liang said that the incident happened in her Buangkok kitchen while she and her husband gone for work.
In the video, it can be seen that the maid is carrying the baby girl while cooking in the kitchen. After a few moments, the maid repeatedly dipped the toddler’s hand into the boiling pot prompting the child to cry.
The incident happened last January 14, 2020, at Liang’s home Block 992B Buangkok Link in Myanmar. Amy gets shocked after checking the CCTV footage at home and found the horrifying incident.
“I felt something was amissed {Sic} and I decided to check the CCTV footage at home while waiting for the maid to be picked up. And what I saw was horrifying. The maid, she did it on purpose! It was never an accident! She took my daughter’s hand and dipped her hand inside a boiling pot. I was shaking throughout and made a police report immediately,” Low said.
The police said that the 30-year-old foreign domestic helper has been arrested last January 15, 2020, for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means. Unfortunately, Mrs. Low removed her post for an unidentified reason.
