Janice de Belen was asked about the love life of her daughter, Kaila Estrada
Seasoned actress Janice de Belen said that she is happy about the relationship of her daughter, Kapamilya actress Kaila Estrada, with Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla.
Kaila and Daniel have become more open about their relationship as they have been seen more frequently together publicly. Fans are very supportive of them, as well, despite some negative reactions from bashers.
In a recent interview on the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, Janice expressed that she’s happy for Kaila’s love life.
The seasoned actress was asked about Kaila’s relationship with Daniel. “I am just happy that Kaila is happy. ‘Yun lang,” Janice de Belen shared.
As Kaila’s mother, she just want her children to be happy. Previously, Janice mentioned that she does not intervene with the love life of her children and whoever they choose to love.
“Para sa isang parent, ang gusto mo lang, maging masaya sila, ‘di ba? When you see that your child is happy, anon’g karapatan mong makialam at gumitna du’n sa happiness. Basta happy ka. ‘Yun lang ang gusto ko,” she said.
Just like every parent, Janice also does not want her children to be hurt. All she could do is to remind them.
“I always tell my children kasi, since gusto n’yo ‘yung relationship na ‘yan, there will always be misgivings coming from me. Kasi, ang gusto mo lang naman as a parent, hindi sila masaktan,” Janice shared, adding that this is all what she wanted for them.
The seasoned actress also said that she does not want her children to go through the same pain she went through before. However, she will not impose because somehow, she became rebellious in a way, and she always asked her parents to trust her.
With this, she learned to trust her children that they could take responsibility of the consequences of their actions.
When asked about her own love life, Janice de Belen answered, “No more, Tito Boy. Hindi ko na alam what a relationship is, eh.” She said that it is her choice not to be in a relationship anymore. The seasoned actress has been single for 18 years now.
