Michael de Mesa said Ang Probinsyano viewers can expect these things
Veteran actor Michael de Mesa teased what to expect from Coco Martin’s primetime series Ang Probinsyano.
The said series is now on its 4th year. There had been speculations that the series will end in 2019 and some shows have been pitched to replace it. However, it is still one of the top-rated shows in primetime.
This 2020, the life of Cardo Dalisay continues to inspire and entertainment the viewers. Based on the article from Philippine Ultimate Showbiz Hub, Michael, as one of the cast members shared what to expect from the show.
Reportedly, several Hollywood stars will appear in the show. “Yes we’re going big this year, that’s something na dapat abangan ng mga viewers. We’re going big, this year,” Michael de Mesa shared.
It was speculated that famous stars such as Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz will appear in Ang Probinsyano. With this, Michael answered, “Hindi ko alam kung siya, (laughs) [Si Penelope Cruz] Hindi ko rin alam kung siya.” The tone in his voice implied happiness.
On the other hand, the veteran actor said that there are already stars who are confirmed to appear in the series. “Pero depende, depende sa kanila kung sino ang makukuha nila. They negotiated with a few, may mga few names na na lumabas pero hindi ko rin naman pwede i-confirm kung sino na yung mga yun,” he said.
Aside from this, it is also expected that some episodes of Ang Probinsyano will be shot in other countries, based on the article. Apparently, the series is aiming to be global as it is soaring to a higher level.
