Thousands of families who live near the crater of Taal volcano now camped in evacuation centers. More than 20,000 children among those who flee amid Taal wrath.
The second most active volcano erupted on Sunday. The natural disaster destroyed houses and covered it with a thick layer of ashfall. Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte declared the island as ‘no man’s land.’
Filipino people are doing their best to help the families and individuals displaced by the Taal eruption. Based on a report from Smart Parenting, a teacher and speech pathologist said people should also pay extra attention to the young Taal victims. Some of them are surely traumatized by the disaster.
