Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is the fourth Filipina to win the prestigious beauty pageant in the world. After passing the crown to her successor Zozibini Tunzi, she went back to the Philippine to pursue her singing career.
The beauty queen singed a contract with ABS-CBN and she is set to release her book entitled “Conquering Your Universe” this year. Cat has appeared several times on the Sunday variety show ‘ASAP Nation ‘To.’
In a previous article, Catriona Gray then became part of ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show It’s Showtime. She joined hosts Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Karylle, and Jhong Hilario among others.
The Filipina-Australian beauty queen celebrated her 26th birthday on January 6. Her fellow beauty queen Zozibini Tunzi penned a heartfelt birthday message for her on Instagram.
On Tuesday, Catriona Gray shared some photos of her recent birthday celebration. She celebrated her special day with the kids from Young Focus, a non-government organization that aims to make education in the Philippines more accessible to the less fortunate kids. Smokey Mountain is the main area of their operation.
The 26-year-old celebrity shared several photos of herself with the kids and fellow advocates. She organized a children’s party for the Young Focus kids.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Celebrating my birthday with my [Young Focus] family! Had such an awesome day singing and dancing with all the students and staff!”
Weeks before Catriona Gray won the Miss Universe crown, she released the song entitled “We’re In This Together” as her way of supporting the Young Focus organization.
